Happy Halloween!

Happy Belated Halloween! Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year! This is Alex’s ninth Halloween. It is her first Halloween with our beloved, fur boy, Jack, and Alex chose for them to be chickens 🐔 this year! Last year, Alex was an avocado for Halloween, and it was our first year without our beloved Victory at Halloween; two years ago, Alex and Victory were llamas; a dinosaur three years ago; a rainbow four years ago; a peacock five years ago; a Crayola red crayon six years ago; Super Woman seven years ago; and a unicorn eight years ago. Additionally, Victory was Wonder Woman, fifties girl, lioness, butterfly, and a ladybug for her first Halloween.

Alex worked on a pumpkin project for school, and she made Charlie Brown, pictured below! Alex had a wonderful Halloween celebration, which included, trunk-or-treat, a school parade, and a class party at school on Halloween, along with trick-or-treating with her little friend from school! Jack was a very good trooper on Halloween, he joined us for trick-or-treating and he did really well and seemed to enjoy being involved! We think he finally feels at home, which coincidentally, it has been nearly a year since we adopted Jack, and we are celebrating soon!

We took Jack to his first pumpkin patch, and he did very well, and really enjoyed it! He is getting better about riding in the car, thankfully!

Alex and Doug carved a wonderful pumpkin together featuring Snoopy, a family favorite, pictured below, keeping with our Peanuts theme this year!

Additionally, here are links to other pumpkins carved by Doug: last year; two years ago; three years ago; four years ago; five years ago; six years ago; seven years ago; eight years ago; nine years ago; ten years ago; eleven years ago; twelve years ago; thirteen years ago; and fourteen years ago!

Here is a short video of the lit pumpkin that Doug carved for us this year, with some wonderful and helpful assistance from Alex! They both did a great job, as always!
