Biscuit’s visit to the Royal Oak, Michigan Orvis Store

Somewhat recently we discovered that Biscuit was appearing in Orvis stores around the country in connection with the Orvis Petfinder Commitment, promoting dog rescue. Over the holidays we visited Michigan. Below are some photographs of Biscuit with his poster at the Royal Oak, Michigan Orvis store.

In early October 2012, we took Biscuit to the Tysons Corner Orvis store located in northern Virginia. You can view photographs from that visit here.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We are looking forward to 2013!

Below are a few photographs from Biscuit’s New Year’s Eve festivities last night! Biscuit and Nick enjoyed some pup cakes from the Cupcake Station located in Ann Arbor, Michigan! This, of course, was a special treat for Biscuit as he is on a prescription diet!

Biscuit Enjoying the Snow!

Biscuit’s First Snow!

This morning we woke up to snow while we are on vacation for the Holidays! Doug and I always wanted to know how Biscuit would take to the snow as we have not had any snow in Maryland since we adopted and rescued Biscuit.

This morning, we opened the front door and Biscuit galloped up and down the street. Biscuit was quite animated — he started playing in the snow and barking! (Biscuit usually is not much of a barking dog!) He liked the snow as much as he loved running on the beach in Nova Scotia!

A Biscuit Sighting!

Our friend recently found little Biscuit in the store and sent me this photo below! How exciting!

You can be on the look out for Biscuit in your grocery store. Biscuit appears on the Jones Soda Co., the green apple flavor!

Holiday Cards!

I am not sure where the month of December went, as it is drawing to a close. It is hard to believe Christmas is just five days away! I finally finished and mailed my Holiday cards this morning! My Holiday cards were mailed a little later than usual, but hopefully everyone, including those on the west coast, will receive their Holiday cards in time for Christmas! (We recently had a few mishaps receiving our mail, including receiving our completed Holiday card).

I love making photo cards, and here is a sneak peek at this year’s Holiday card in the envelope! You will have to wait to see the actual Holiday card when you receive it in the mail! Of course, our little Biscuit is the hallmark of our Holiday card this year as well as last year! Happy Holidays!

Biscuit is doing well and he is ready for Christmas travels! Below is a photograph of Biscuit as he was waking up from a nap on his Orvis bed! He kept me company as I finished up our cards!

Fan Mail!

To our surprise last night, Biscuit received some Christmas gifts from a fan of his blog! Pat Pope along with her sheltie, Dusty, was kind enough to think of Biscuit for the Holidays! We are going to wait to open these beautifully wrapped gifts on Christmas. Biscuit sniffed out his box last night when we opened the gift box from Pat. We are very grateful for Pat’s generosity and thoughtfulness!

It is our hope that people will decide to rescue a dog after reading about Biscuit’s story and his adventures! Biscuit has been such a wonderful part of our lives.
