I have not taken any photos of our little Biscuit since this weekend. Biscuit has been under the weather and he is still battling a skin yeast infection on his body and an ear infection. He also has had an upset stomach from his new antibiotic. Luckily, Biscuit woke us up so Doug could take him outside several times. We cut the dosage of his antibiotics back to help with his upset stomach. Biscuit has even cooperated with us giving him frequent baths using his medicated shampoo! He looks so different when he is all wet! There will be more photos of Biscuit to come!
This image below from Nova Scotia taken from our little house that we rented – reminds me of how peaceful we felt when we were there!
Poor Biscuit! I have experienced many maladies with my pets through the years, and I just want to pass some info on to you that could help you in this situation. There are 10 OTC medicines you can give your pet. Here at 2 for Biscuit’s situation:
1. Pepcid AC (famotidine)
2. Tagamet HB (cimetidine)
These stomach drugs, which hinder the body’s production of GI acids, are great for pets when gastric juices flow into overdrive. They’re mostly given to dogs for simple gastritis (stomach inflammation), which can result from a number of tummy insults — self-inflicted through “dietary indiscretion” or otherwise.
Dosage depends on the pet’s size, other drugs administered and your pet’s general condition. Always check with your vet first to get the go-ahead and the right dosage.

P.S. Nova Scotia is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing all these wonderful pics with us!
