Biscuit had a good weekend, and below are some photographs of Biscuit looking very happy and handsome!
Doug and I just received Biscuit’s framed Orvis Cover Dog image along with the original photograph of Biscuit! We are very pleased with the results. We used James L. Pierce Fine Art and Custom Framing Galleries located in Baltimore. Now, Biscuit will forever be in our home marking his monumental day!
Happy Mother’s Day!

I am very happy to announce my new photography business, Katherine Carver Photography. You can view and share my website using the following link, www.katherinecarverphotography.com. I am focusing on dog and animal photography with a fine art documentary approach. Biscuit, our rescue Shetland Sheepdog, was the inspiration for pursuing this artistic endeavor. Biscuit awakened a desire to carry my camera everywhere — creating images that preserve fleeting moments that chronicle Biscuit’s story forever; and simultaneously recording another realm that would otherwise remain unseen.
My goal is to record the unique personalities and signature physical attributes of the animals that I photograph. I believe those who hire me are actively searching for an alternative fine art documentary approach to capture the heart and soul of their cherished furry family member(s).
“We photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing, and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth can make them come back again. We cannot develop and print a memory.”
-Henri Cartier-Bresson
Thank you,
